GSV Partners with the Boston College School of Theology and Ministry
Good Shepherd Volunteers is thrilled to announce a new partnership with the Boston College School of Theology and Ministry (STM). STM will be awarding a current or former Good Shepherd Volunteer a full scholarship each year and partial scholarships to all current or former GSVs who are enrolled in STM.
The Boston College School of Theology and Ministry is a comprehensive theological school. Students attend the STM from diverse backgrounds and with a variety of educational and vocational goals. STM offers programs designed to meet the growing needs of the international Church and partners with other graduate programs in Boston College to offer innovative dual degree programs.
STM encourages prospective students to apply and then to defer their admission for a year while they volunteer through GSV. This is in recognition of the important life experience and faith building nature of long-term service.
